Krakow it is one of the oldest cities in Poland and like each town possess own legend. According to it, Krakow owes one's name to prince by name Krak. Cracow also has one's legend about dragon of Wawel. Once Krakow was the capital of Poland-this its the best time. Now Krakow is third, with respect to number of dewellers, city in Poland and second as far as area. Many historic monuments are carried on: Royal Castle on Wawel Hill, Cloth Hall, St Mary's Tower, town hall, Planty, Barbican, synagogues, mounds. This everything remind us, that Krakow is one of the most important culture centers in Europa. |
